Hebrews 11:1-2, 13, Job 19:25
Faith in God involved the
confidence God would provide a way for forgiveness of sins. Faith always anticipated Christ’s coming and
sacrifice for our sins. Old Testament
believers offered sacrifice as an expression of their faith and need of
atonement. By itself it didn’t take away
the sin. It was only a covering. When offered in faith God accepts them because
they point to Jesus, the One True Sacrifice: perfect, spotless, worthy and able
to atone for all the sin of the entire world.

in Scripture our heart should be softened with compassion for the lost and a
desire to share the good news of Christ Jesus.
He was more than a man, He is our Salvation!!!
